As a curtain raiser for the Royal Tournament which opens at Earls Court a 1, 000 officers and men form British and Commonwealth forces taking part in the tournament, paraded in Battersea Park. Led by the colourful band of the Fiji Military Forces, the men taking part in the tournament included The Royal Navel Field Gun Crew, sailors and Marines from the " Blockade and Raid" display, gun teams of the Royal Horse Artillerys Musical Drive, a team of Army gymnasts and the Gontinuity Drill Squad of the Queens is Color Squadron, R.A.F. and the RAF police dogs. The ladies were represented by the W.R.A.F. Band. The Regimental band and Bugles of the Brigade of Gurkhas marching past.11th July 1965
