An Austin A70 car which has crashed through iron railings at street level and fallen into the basement area of a private house in Belgrave Square, London, on 20 May 1955. The only occupant, a woman, suffered minor injuries and was helped from the car by the Brigade

LFB firefighters in a 100 yards race for the Brigade Championship Final at White City Stadium, 30 August 1958. They are taking part in the LFB Athletic Association 47th Annual Athletic Meeting. The winner was C Snook of Lambeth (5) with a time of 10.7 seconds, second was L V Vandenburgh of Clerkenwell (1), third was R J H Miller of Brunswick Road (3), fourth was W W Pople of Edgware Road (2), fifth was Ms Ellinas of Kentish Town (6) and sixth was M E Talbot of Holloway (4)

Incident at East Surrey Grove, SE London, 7 May 1955. Showing a fire engine (pump) on the pavement and front gardens of two private houses, after taking a sharp right and left turn and apparently coming off the road on its way to a fire. No other vehicles were involved, apart from a parked motorcycle and sidecar. The owner was working on the motorcycle at the time, but was able to jump clear and avoid injury
